I\u2019ll run a few of them today with some short comments. Looks good!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images4\/hotgaspump.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is kind of hot ad on a gas pump I saw in Nevada. A girl with a mechanized phallus. But, wait, that\u2019s not from the Journey To The East.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images4\/kyfence.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here we go, a misty morning fence on a thoroughbred horse farm in Skylight, Kentucky, outside of Louisville, where I grew up.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images4\/kyarrow.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mysterious straws point the way home. \u201cYou used to live here.\u201d\u009d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images4\/madairviewsq.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Flying from Louisville to Madison, I was enjoying the patterns in the fields. It\u2019s odd, really, how little attention I sometimes pay to view out of an airplane window. When it\u2019s such a totally unusual and amazing thing to see. It kills me when sometimes the flight crew is telling everyone to close their amazing-view windows so people can watch tiny little TV images of utterly mundane trash.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images4\/madairchev.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Another plane view. Really, you could shoot hundreds of thousands of pictures like this, all of them equally great. Though I was getting some glare off the inside of the plane window.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images4\/madgeoart.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I saw daughter Georgia in Madison, the CEO of Georgia Rucker Design. In this picture we\u2019re at a museum in Madison to see the opening of a show by this amazing light artist Leo Villareal. He\u2019s slated to get a \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/thebaylights.org\/\" target=\"blank\">Bay Lights<\/a>\u201d\u009d show happening on the San Francisco Bay Bridge in 2013.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images4\/madgoggleeyes.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>No house with children is complete without a pair of springy hanging goggle eyes!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images4\/ruvinalveearm.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Jumping back to the beginning of the trip, we were on the island of Vinalhaven to see our young friend Leda Marritz\u2019s wedding.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images4\/vinalbreakfast_s.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>My wife Sylvia took a great picture of our humble motel breakfast one morning.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images4\/vinalyellowhouse.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>All these great Hopperesque houses reflected in the water\u2014with thousands of lobsters below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images4\/boothtriangle_s.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Another great photo by Sylvia, shot in Boothbay Harbor, Maine.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images4\/glowinslowketch.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We worked our way down to Gloucester. One day we took a cruise around the harbor, and I got this very Winslow Homer shot. I could be called Crowding The Shore, or Hard Alee, or Ketch Off Dog Bar.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images4\/glodumpsterwait.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And here\u2019s a hylozoically alive red dumpster wondering if he can climb up those wooden stairs and go inside the apartment for once.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s it for today!
