The only green color he could see came from the explosions of his blaster. He ran down its battery, firing it over and over to see the green.  And then the yellow hyenas got him.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images\/rainmed.jpg\" width=400 height=267 border=0 alt=&#039;&#039;><\/p>\n<p>Closer in on the green leaves I remember the poem &#8220;The Red Wheelbarrow&#8221; by William Carlos Williams.<\/p>\n<p>so much depends<br \/>\n<br \/>upon<br \/>\n<br \/>a red wheel<br \/>\n<br \/>barrow<\/p>\n<p>glazed with rain<br \/>\n<br \/>water<\/p>\n<p>beside the white<br \/>\n<br \/>chickens.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images\/rainnear.jpg\" width=400 height=267 border=0 alt=&#039;&#039;><\/p>\n<p>Hail Gaia.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images\/rainlens.jpg\" width=400 height=267 border=0 alt=&#039;&#039;><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Still raining, everything getting green, up in the morning it&#039;s lovely out the window, kitchen lamp reflected in the panes.
