Finally the reservoirs are overflowing.  Last time this happened, Clinton got elected.  There is hope.<\/p>\n<p>Isabel and Rudy were playing Go here for a little bit today.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images\/izrudygo.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Time to catch up on some links that came in:<\/p>\n<p>Steve Hooley posted some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.georgiasouthern.edu\/~hooleyss\/icfa26.html\" target=\"_blank\"> pictures of the IAFA conference<\/a> I attended in Fort Lauderdale, FLA a couple of weeks back.<\/p>\n<p>I revised my talk since then, here&rsquo;s a link to the new version of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/pdf\/icfatalk2005.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">&rdquo;Seek the Gnarl&rdquo;<\/a>, complete with a suggestion that lit crit start using Gnarl Theory.<\/p>\n<p>A reader called majcher sent me a link to a Microsoft research project called <a href=\"http:\/\/research.microsoft.com\/hwsystems\/\" target=\"_blank\">SenseCam<\/a>, it&rsquo;s somewhat similar to a lifebox-capable vlog ring.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images\/airgnats.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/posthumanblues.blogspot.com\/2005\/03\/there-are-still-many-fervent-believers.html\" target=\"_blank\">Mac Tonnies<\/a> pointed out that my pictures of the gnats smeared out across time was an example of a kind of picture that saucer-buffs like to say are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.roswellrods.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">&ldquo;rods&rdquo;.<\/a>  I like aeoroform giant paramecia better.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rudyrucker.com\/blog\/images\/romanescu.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>John Walker made a fascinating web page about a very fractal relative of broccoli called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fourmilab.ch\/images\/Romanesco\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Romanesco<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>More rain.
