Nick’s “ghost partner” is a time traveler who inhabits all of his worlds. The fact that Rudy thought he belonged only to Nick’s alternative world was clearly Rudy’s error. What few know about Nick is that he time shifts when “merging into quantum wavicles.” Don’t laugh; I’ve seen it happen!
