The following hypothetical “threshold greeting” below the celebratory march 20th blog entry above is from a direct transmission from an unknown threshold to leo(linus)robinson’s laptop on the night of march 29th 8:03pm at Diedricks Coffee in Newport Beach via a new, revolutionary “threshold greeting card” software program…. The complete transmission received on march 29th at 8:03pm is as follows:
“greetings from the unknown threshold. happy birthday Professor Rucker. all “cyber-vortex” cyber-punks must now buy the new Frippertronics CD…….”
(this was the end of this mysterious transmission)…..

(concerning the hypothetical “sci-fi” greeting from march 29th below)…. As a greeting of salutations and goodwill to the entire “cyber-punk” literary community, never forget that the antics in temperaments and mannerisms of this extraordinary literary genre reflect only the highest in civilities and aspirations within the escapades and misadventures of a vitalic subculture. If Claude Bragdon were alive today in Professor Rucker’s philosophical-literary circle, then Bragdon would perhaps write a follow-up to “Four-Dimensional Vistas” absurdly entitled “Four-Dimensional Misadventures,” enshrined in the transcendental idealism of Immanuel Kant and the mystical-mathematical consciousness of C.H. Hinton. The antic form of expression of this literary subculture can therefore become a trivial and sophomoric joke as in Jon Pearce’s halarious, yet ultimately out-of-context and absurdly irrelevant reminisce featured above in this informal “cyber-punk” blog. The appropriate consciousness of the literary “cyber-punk” is therefore to apprehend vistas of philosophical inquiry, not absurdities in an over-the-top literary style….
