Regarding Bob Dylan's _Chronicles_: I think it might have the form it does because it started out as liner notes he was writing for some album reissues. But, they turned out longer than he expected, so they ended up being packaged in a book as memoirs. That was the story I read somewhere (I don't remember where). That kind of makes sense, if you think of one section as starting out as liner notes for _New Morning_, another section starting out as liner notes for _Oh Mercy_, and so on. It makes the form seem a little less random.
He's supposedly coming out with another volume next year, so it will be interesting to see whether they have the same form as the first volume.
I thought it was a pretty fascinating book.

Rudy, I use opera @ 1280 with email open, it gets a little bit cluttered. And adwords are not much visible. I fear they track clickthru rate, so if we all click on links you'll get banned for abnormal traffic. And I've heard that speaking of how much you make is against their TOS, too...

On my screen, the blog is still the same width, only it's shifted a bit to the left. Send me a screen image, Lenz, or tell me more. What resolution is your screen at?
I'm not sure I'll stay with the ads or not. I've racked up 51 cents in the first day of them, which would make for a somewhat negligable $15 a month. But maybe it'll ramp up.

I feel that the adsense on the right quite narrows this blog. Why not entering it in the grey column on the right?
